In Appunite, we work within the WiseScaling ****Framework — a management system that structures how we move from observing signals, to understanding problems, to taking action. Analyses are one of the core tools in this system.

What is an Analysis?

An analysis is how we understand a problem before we act on it. It answers the question: "What is really going on, and why?" — not "What should we do about it?"

Our guiding principle:

We don't take action without a diagnosis. We don't make a diagnosis without gathering context.

When Do We Open an Analysis?

We open an analysis when a pattern emerges from our observations that requires understanding the root cause — before deciding on any action.

Common triggers:

• An eNPS or CSAT result that deviates from the norm or trend
• Feedback from a leader or Appuniter pointing to a systemic (not individual) issue
• An observation from a retrospective that suggests a deeper cause
• A decision we need to make, but whose implications we don't yet fully understand

Practical gut-check: When you catch yourself thinking "this isn't the first time I've heard this — there's something deeper here" — that's the moment to stop and understand the cause before acting.

Structure of an Analysis Card

Every analysis follows a standardized template:

• Question — What question does this analysis need to answer?
• Current state — Where are we today? What is observable and measurable?
• Findings — What did we gather? Data, observations, signals.
• Diagnosis — One sentence naming the structural cause of the problem (no solutions here).
• Recommended action — The direction we should take next.
